When daydreaming about home improvements with the fiance, I constantly circle back to how badly I want our walls and wood floors to be white. I'm not sure why yet (I know it sounds boring!) but the thought of more lightness and a blank canvas is too good. It's something I always go back to in my wardrobe when I need to reign it in. Here are some white interiors I've been drooling over and filing in my "dreamy home" folder.

Love the muted minimalist look. I would definitely have to get a bigger junk drawer to hide all my random knick knacks.
I think my next house will be all white...or my next next house :) but I agree that it is so serene and calming. We did paint our walls white last year and in our small space it has made such a difference and balances out all the crazy colors we have going on. I think your house is lovely now, but look forward to seeing what you two do to the place in the next couple years. fun fun!

I totally agree with you, they're something so special about white on white. I especially love white on white kitchens.
So apparently Farrow and Ball have said the trend for interiors this year is literally all about tonality - so the white spacious tones with depth and texture are everywhere. Paint the floorboards white and just sand them down when you're done with it?
