I had every intention of wearing something with sequins this New Year's Eve until I caught a glimpse of this brocade mini dress from Anthropologie. The ornate pattern was too much for me to pass up as I see myself wearing it far past the holidays. I slipped it on for a test run recently and paired it with basic black favorites. I especially love the combination of the rich pattern styled with a cool leather jacket—my kind of dressin'.

Omg, love the dress!!
I love this outfit! Anything other than sequins on New Year's will win me over though! The dress is super cute and I loved the way you styled it, especially the shoes. I'm not sure I'd carry that clutch all night though. Oversized clutches start to drive me crazy after a little while and you wouldn't want someone to spill a drink on the hair!
